The Bauer Official's Referee Protective Shirt is new to the Bauer Official's equipment family.  Starting with a base layer 37.5 shirt, a material that uses your own body heat to evaporate sweat and keep you cool and dry, the shirt is designed around the needs of the professional referee - emphasizing on maneuverability and comfort.  Lightweight perforated foams are interspersed throughout the pad, with sections of padding over key regions such as the spine, sternum, and ribs.  A patch of Bauer XRD Foam covers vital regions in the chest as a focused form of protection in these key areas.

Aimed for referee's but we think this padded shirt is the best available for players looking for something less than shoulder pads and more than nothing! Great for Roller Hockey or Pick up / Recreational Ice Hockey

The materials are cut in the exact same shapes as the Mission Core shirt, but the foams on this one are twice as thick. Plus it has the Poron patch around the heart area which is a nice upgrade.
