Original Item: Only one available. This rare original victorian cavalry helmet of the regiment that captured the French 105th regiment's eagle at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. Constructed of silvered brass bowl with originally gilt brass mounts bearing large helmet plate (badge) with the large numeral 1 to center. Complete with black horsehair plume, correct ringed brass chin scales and adjustable original leather liner. In very nice display condition showing only slight use and storage wear.
