Blade Material: The blade of the PSK is crafted from stonewashed 14C28N stainless steel, which offers excellent hardness and corrosion resistance associated with Nitrogen in its composition, unlike other steel types which use carbon to boost hardness and edge retention. 

Handle Material: The full tang handle has scales that are constructed from Micarta, a durable and grippy composite material known for its resistance to moisture, chemicals and temperature changes. Micarta handles provide a comfortable and secure grip even in wet or slippery conditions.

Maintenance: Maintaining this knife is relatively straight forward, allowing for easy cleaning, lubrication and sharpening. 14C28N stainless steel, while durable, requires maintenance to retain its sharpness. It is a must to keep your blade dry, clean and lubricated when not in use.
